Wesley Temple to Host Conference

Jun. 14–Wesley Temple A.M.E. Zion Church will host the 93rd session of its denomination’s six-day Ohio annual conference starting Tuesday.

The week’s activities include a luncheon on Tuesday, daily worship services and a free Hip-Hop Gospel Concert featuring Judah E, the University of Akron Gospel Choir and Kory Miles & Resurrected Praise at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the Student Union ballroom on the University of Akron campus.

Bethel Temple Assembly of God SOLO Singles — Will meet at Rockne’s, 5000 Portage St., North Canton, at 6 p.m. Friday, and then go to the Alive Festival at Clay’s Park.
