Center for Diagnostic Imaging Acquires Four Outpatient Imaging Centers
Center for Diagnostic Imaging (CDI), Indianapolis’ premier outpatient imaging provider and member of CDI’s national outpatient imaging provider network, announced today its’ acquisition of four outpatient diagnostic imaging centers: three IHI (Indianapolis Health Imaging) centers in Indianapolis, and one (Columbus Health Imaging) center in Columbus, Ohio. This opportunity results from a decision by American Health Imaging to exit the Indianapolis and Ohio markets, which allows CDI to further strengthen its commitment to provide accessible, high-quality medical imaging services to area physicians and patients.
“We’re pleased to transition ownership of these clinics to Center for Diagnostic Imaging,” states Scott Arant, American Health Imaging CEO. “CDI has an outstanding reputation in Indianapolis and throughout the U.S., and we’re confident they will continue to provide excellent medical care for the patients served by these centers.”
The integration of the IHI centers expands CDI’s geographic coverage in Indianapolis to six locations. Due to the proximity of existing CDI locations in Fishers and Indianapolis, CDI will not be operating the previous IHI-Northeast center located at 7330 E 82nd Street in Indianapolis. CDI also manages a seventh location in Valparaiso, Indiana. The CHI clinic will be CDI’s first center in the Ohio market.
“The acquisition of the AHI centers in Indiana and Ohio is consistent with our ongoing strategy to provide high-quality care to area patients and physicians,” commented Bob Baumgartner, Center for Diagnostic Imaging CEO. “The additional centers allow us to offer patients better access to imaging care through more convenient location options and more flexible appointment times.”
