Lehigh Valley Hospital and Health Network Uses StillSecure for IDS and Pre- and Post-Connect NAC
Posted on: Monday, 16 June 2008, 12:01 CDT
StillSecure(R), provider of secure network infrastructure solutions, and Lehigh Valley Hospital and Health Network (LVHHN), a premier academic community hospital and health services provider in Allentown and Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, announced that LVHNN has implemented StillSecure Safe Access(R) and StillSecure Strata Guard(R). Safe Access and Strata Guard provide IDS and both pre- and post-connect NAC as a part of the foundation of LVHHN's network security initiatives.
LVHHN has been using the joint solution for almost two years, and Safe Access and Strata Guard are currently deployed enterprise-wide. Safe Access and Strata Guard help LVHHN comply with HIPPA regulations, in addition to helping control who and what devices have access to sensitive network data.
"Safe Access and Strata Guard are solid solutions to our challenges in controlling access to the network and reducing the risk from threats and intrusions. We are proud to have implemented these solutions enterprise-wide," said Harry Lukens, CIO at Lehigh Valley Hospital and Health Network. "Our networking and security teams have been very pleased with the level of support and performance that we receive from StillSecure, and we look forward to continuing to build our strong relationship."
"Lehigh Valley has been an excellent customer partner over the past two years. They have an in-depth understanding of NAC and how it can be used to enforce policies on both trusted and untrusted devices," said Alan Shimel, Chief Strategy Officer at StillSecure. "Their use of both pre- and post-connect NAC validates our 'complete NAC' strategy. We want to extend our thanks to the whole team -- Rich, Tony, Andy, and Dennis -- for their continued commitment to working with StillSecure to make sure our products are delivering the highest value possible."
