Premier Honors Contracted Suppliers Whose Performance Exceeds Member Expectations

June 16, 2008

The Premier healthcare alliance’s Purchasing Partners division last week recognized the winners of its third annual Pinnacle Award and Performance Award at the 2008 Premier Annual Breakthroughs Conference & Exhibition in Nashville, Tenn.

Premier’s Pinnacle and Performance Awards applaud the efforts of contracted suppliers in meeting or exceeding member healthcare organization service expectations. In selecting recipients, satisfaction and performance data are collected and scored over four successive calendar quarters. Feedback is provided during regular supplier business line reviews. Contracted suppliers scoring 95 percent or higher earn the Pinnacle Award; organizations scoring between 85 to 94 percent earn the Performance Award.

Premier Purchasing Partners President Mike Alkire said, “Premier’s Pinnacle and Performance Awards honor the select few suppliers that understand the importance of beneficial collaboration and striving for performance excellence. These companies are the standard bearers for all Premier contracted suppliers. We proudly honor these pacesetters as we work together to improve healthcare in our communities.”
