Seventeen Children Hospitalized With Food Poisoning in Astrakhan

ASTRAKHAN. June 22 (Interfax-South) – Seventeen children from a pre-school day care center in Astrakhan have been hospitalized with food poisoning, Interfax was told at the regional division of the Emergency Situations Ministry Sunday evening.
“The condition of children aged from three to six is not alarming. Doctors are monitoring all of them,” a spokesman for the division said.
A criminal case of violating sanitation rules has been opened in relation to the massive food poisoning.
