Health Dialog Wins Twice at the 2008 HeSCA Media Festival
Shared Decision-Making(R) Videos Provide Evidence-Based Healthcare Information

Health Dialog Services Corporation today announced that two of its Shared Decision-Making(R) videos were honored at the 34th Health and Science Communications Association (HeSCA) Media Festival held on June 21, 2008 in New Haven, Connecticut. The two videos, “Treatment Choices for Coronary Artery Disease” and “Treatment Choices for Knee Osteoarthritis,” were each presented with a Bronze Award in the Patient Education category.
The HeSCA Media Festival is produced by the Health and Science Communications Association, an international health sciences media forum in which entries in print, film, video, still media, and interactive media compete for distinguished honors and visibility. The festival recognizes health communications media that demonstrate outstanding design and production values. Submissions are evaluated on technical quality, production values and techniques, educational design, technological innovation, creativity, and craftsmanship.
The award-winning videos are part of Health Dialog’s broader library of member support tools that present individuals with unbiased, evidence-based information on treatment options and condition management. The videos are just one of the resources offered to members through Health Dialog’s Collaborative Health SupportSM program, a whole person health support program that encourages individuals to take a proactive role in managing their health.
