Take Care Health Systems Opens More Clinics in Wisconsin
Take Care Health Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of Walgreens, has expanded into three more Wisconsin cities by opening its first clinics at Walgreens drugstores in the Green Bay, Madison and Oshkosh/Fox Valley markets.
The company said that the clinics are walk-in, professional health care centers open seven days a week with extended evening and weekend hours. With these openings, Take Care Health Systems now has 13 clinics in the state, including 10 in the Milwaukee area. Up to six additional clinics are planned in the state later in 2008.
Peter Miller, Take Care Health Systems’s president and CEO, said: “Take Care Health Clinics have been incredibly well-received in Milwaukee – our first Wisconsin market – since opening in March 2007. Across the US, Take Care Health providers have offered high-quality, affordable and convenient health care to over half a million patients, with exceedingly high patient satisfaction ratings. We believe that residents of Green Bay, Madison and Oshkosh/Fox Valley will also find value in our patient-first model of care.”
