What’s Open and Closed on July Fourth

Jul. 3--HOLIDAY SCHEDULE Today is the Fourth of July. Municipal, county, state and federal offices, post offices, public schools and libraries, stock markets and banks are closed.
Garbage: Regular pickup schedule. The Southwest Regional Landfill, 7101 SW 205th Ave., is closed.
Animal Care and Regulation's two animal shelters are closed. For emergencies involving an animal attack or bite, call 911. To report injured animals, call 954-765-5124. For lost or found cats or dogs, call 954-359-1313, ext. 242.
Grocery stores are open regular hours.
Malls are open as follows: Aventura Mall, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; Broward Mall, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; Coral Ridge Mall, 9 a.m.-6 p.m.; Coral Square Mall, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; Dadeland Mall, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; The Galleria, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; Lauderhill Mall, 10 a.m.- 6 p.m.; Pembroke Lakes Mall, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; Sawgrass Mills, 10 a.m.-9:30 p.m.; The Shops at Pembroke Gardens, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; Town Center at Boca Raton, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; Festival Flea Market Mall, 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m.; Fort Lauderdale Swap Shop, 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
Broward County regional parks are open 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. The holiday gate entrance fee is $1.50 per person (children 5 and younger free). Fern Forest and Secret Woods nature centers and Deerfield Island Park are open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Long Key Natural Area is open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Neighborhood parks are open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. but will not be staffed and buildings will be closed. Markham Park Target Range is open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
