St Barnabas Hospice provides vital assistance and support for people living with a life-threatening illness, and their relatives and friends. As well as cancer patients, St Barnabas helps people with motor neurone, respiratory and neurological conditions, as well as heart failure.

The facilities include:

In-patient units: Offering in-patient care for those who need specialist support. Located on Nettleham Road, Lincoln.

Six day hospices: In Boston, Gainsborough, Spalding, Sutton-on- Sea, Skegness, and Lincoln.

Hospice at home team: Team of specialist care nurses who see patients in their own homes.

You can help St Barnabas by holding or organising an event. Request one of its ‘How to organise an event’ leaflets, and ask about help available and get information, by phoning (01522) 540300.

Or you could become a volunteer. Currently 700 volunteers work in either the in-patient unit, day hospices, and in the charity shops.

St Barnabas Hospice has 18 charity shops, which sell secondhand clothing, books, furniture and electrical goods. If you wish to donate goods to a shop, you can drop your items into it or telephone the central unit which can help arrange collection of the goods from your home. E-mail your address and telephone number to the shops manager at chris.rookes@stbarnabashospice.co.uk
