Dental patients felt more relaxed as they received treatment yesterday as practice staff dressed in Hawaiian skirts.
Staff at Meir Dental Centre in Penfleet Avenue, Meir, dressed in Hula-Hula clothes to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the NHS and American Independence Day.Patients made donations which will benefit the Ronald McDonald house charity and Cancer Research.
There was also a lucky dip.
Practice manager Lucy O'Reilly said: "The patients loved it. They asked us to keep the decorations up in the practice for an extra week, as they said it was all making them feel more relaxed.
