BUPA International Rolls Out Cover for New EU Countries
Health insurer Bupa International has introduced its European Health Plan, a new international private medical insurance tailored for people living and working in new EU countries, such as Bulgaria and Romania.
The European Health Plan provides people living in Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia with access to treatment in hospitals or clinics anywhere in Europe.It also includes cover for chronic diseases, such as diabetes, worldwide emergency travel and the facility to add dental and optical cover.
Steven Martin, European development consultant at Bupa International, said: "Because the plan is focused on European coverage, medical costs and premiums are more affordable. Cover starts from just E507 per person per year. The region is developing rapidly and with the European Health plan, Bupa International is meeting the growing demand for international health insurance from companies and expats, as well as local professionals who want to ensure all their health needs are covered."
