Maori Medicine Courses

A series of Waikato University courses that start later this year will take people into the bush to learn about traditional Maori medicine. The series of three Rongoa Maori will be run in Hamilton from early September, Tauranga in mid- October and Kawhia in mid- November.The courses will teach people how to work in the bush to find the plants they need, how to collect them without damaging the plant or tree, and how to prepare them for medicine.
