Award Nominees Sought
Mental Health America of Lancaster County is seeking nominations for its annual awards recognizing people for personal and professional achievements.
The awards will be presented at MHALC’s annual meeting in September.
The categories are as follows:
Consumer of the Year. Someone who is recovering from mental illness and who gives back to the community.
Family Person of the Year. Someone who supports their family in their involvement with MHALC or other community committees.
Educator of the Year. Someone who supports stigma reduction and mental health education.
Mental Health Staff Person of the Year. Someone who works in the mental health system who goes above the call of duty, or who has many years of service in the field.
Volunteer of the Year. Someone who gives of their own time to helping mental health.
Lifetime Achievement. Someone who has been dedicated to the cause of mental health.
