Wolters Kluwer Health, a provider of information for healthcare professionals and students, has announced that Exempla Healthcare has purchased ProVation Order Sets, the actionable, evidenced-based order set authoring and management solution that allows hospitals to put evidence-based healthcare into practice by establishing and maintaining standards of care.
The ProVation Order Sets helps improve patient care by providing easy access to a comprehensive repository of evidence; reduces costs related to medication errors and increases patient safety through built-in standardization at the point of care; aids implementation of evidence-based practice across medical specialties; and a solid return on investment by simplifying the order set review and approval process.
Arvind Subramanian, president and CEO of Wolters Kluwer Health, said: "Our mission is to improve patient outcomes, reduce administrative costs and improve clinician workflow by providing the most accurate and up-to-date medical evidence at the point of care. We are pleased that Exempla Healthcare has selected ProVation Order Sets and believe they will accomplish all of these objectives through its implementation and use."
