Seven Injured in South Korea Helicopter Crash

GAPYEONG, South Korea, July 19 (Yonhap) – A medical helicopter carrying 16 people burst into flames after making an emergency landing north of Seoul on Saturday, injuring seven including Moon Sun-myung, the founder of the Unification Church, and his wife, local police said.
The other nine people onboard were believed to be unharmed.
The helicopter made the landing at a mountainous area near Cheongshim Hospital in Gapyeong, 60 kilometres north of Seoul, around 5:10 p.m., according to police and witnesses.
The injured people were being transferred to Cheongshim Hospital, which is owned by the Unification Church.
Police launched an investigation to determine what caused the accident.
Moon is believed to live in the United States and Brazil.
