Jul. 20–Though the Interstate 10 widening project stretches all along Tucson’s West Side, it’s the construction at the underpasses that affects traffic the most.

The project entails widening I-10 to four lanes in each direction from West Prince Road to West 29th Street, and rebuilding several bridges in between.

This week, in addition to ongoing lane restrictions throughout the work area, watch for:

The eastbound frontage road is scheduled for a moving striping operation from 7 tonight to 6 a.m. Monday between Prince Road and 29th Street.

The left lane of the eastbound frontage road is scheduled to close Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day from Miracle Mile to Grant Road.
