IPHCA Selects NextGen Technology to Support Quality of Care Efforts

NextGen Healthcare Information Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of Quality Systems and a provider of ambulatory healthcare information systems and connectivity solutions, has announced that the Illinois Primary Health Care Association, a nonprofit trade association that represents community health centers, has selected NextGen Healthcare’s suite of enterprise software solutions.

Products selected for implementation into member organizations include NextGen EMR (electronic medical record), NextGen EPM (enterprise practice management) and the NextMD patient portal, as well as Quality Systems’ integrated EDR (electronic dental record) and hardware.

In addition, Illinois Primary Health Care Association (IPHCA) will deploy NextGen Healthcare’s NextGuard Data Protection Services, which claims to provide off-site, web-based data archiving, retention and disaster recovery preparedness services.
