YOU DON’T need to travel thousands or even hundreds of miles to soothe away the stresses of everyday life.

One of the region’s most luxurious spas recently opened to the public at Formby Hall Golf Resort.

Set amid its two golf courses and 62-room four-star hotel, the leisure suite offers monthly memberships, weekend breaks or day packages with a raft of indulgent treatments.

Spa treatments include hot stone full body massages and facials using marine algae-based Phytomer products, the unique “four hands” massage, Atlas Rasul mineral mud treatments, plus Leighton Denny pedicures and manicures and Fake Bake tanning.

All include lunch and access to the swimming pool and gym and the unique thermal heaven, featuring experience showers, foot spa, heated loungers and tranquillity suite.
