Temple Girl Scouts Assist Kids Task Force
TEMPLE - For the second time in a year, the Temple Girl Scout Cadettes and Seniors, along with two Junior members, recently presented the Franklin County Children's Task Force with toiletry bags to be donated to new families who give birth at Franklin Memorial Hospital this year.
Every family who has their first baby at the local hospital is given a bag of useful information and items through the Task Force's Growing Healthy Families program.
The toiletry bags were put together with items that the girls thought moms would like to receive, such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, mouth wash, combs, band aids, lip balm and other assorted items.
Leaders Lynn Smith and Kerstin Hand organized the girls: Kayla Karkos, Kim Hand, Sabrina Kennedy, Rebekah Dunham, Caitlin Kennedy, Nicole Phillips, Laura Dunham, Becka Kennedy, Brittany Edes, Kassie Dellarma, Courtney Melville and Courtney Phelps.
