Rough Rescue for Farmer

The rescue of a 50-year-old farmer injured in a quad bike accident on a Glen Massey farm yesterday was made difficult by the wild weather. An access road was closed and Westpac air ambulance staff had to attend to the man who had suffered back and chest injuries. Air ambulance manager Grant Bremner said flight conditions were difficult with heavy rain and darkness approaching.
