NEW FACES

Michael Lexow, M.D., has joined the Cotton-O’Neil medical staff in family practice. Lexow, an Emporia native, previously practiced at a medical clinic in Lansing. He received his medical degree from The University of Kansas School of Medicine, Wichita. He completed a residency at Family Medicine Residency of Topeka in 2002. Lexow is board certified in family medicine and a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Paula Huff has been appointed executive director of the Topeka Bar Association. She has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Fort Hays State University. Since residing in Topeka, she has held positions with an architectural firm as an office manager and with a private school as the director of admissions.

NEW/GROWING BUSINESSES

Center of Attention Barber Shop and Custom Wigs, 2709 S.E. Indiana, will have a grand opening from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 16. Tonya Fisher, barber/stylist offers clipper cuts, hot lather shaves, facials, custom eyebrow shaping, loc maintenance and custom wig design. Fisher has a bachelor’s degree in business from Washburn University and earned her barber’s license from Cutting Edge Hairstyling Academy in Kansas City, Kan. The shop will be open on Friday and Saturday by appointment.

Document Resources Inc., Manhattan, has opened a new facility at 607 E. 13th in Hays to serve clients in central and western Kansas. The company specializing in document destruction and secure record storage.
