NASA Awards Medical Support Contract

The U.S. space agency says it has selected Innovative Health Applications LLC to provide medical and environmental services at the Kennedy Space Center.
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration contract begins Oct. 1 with a five-year base period, followed by two one-year options. The $163.5 million agreement is a cost plus award fee contract.
Innovative Health Applications, located at Cape Canaveral, Fla., will provide medical services, environmental health services, environmental services and agency occupational health program support at the Florida space center. Selected services will be provided to the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, NASA said.
