Logistics Health Hosts Pandemic Preparedness Conference
Logistics Health announced today that it will host a pandemic preparedness conference entitled “The Pandemic Threat: Preparing an Organizational Response,” at its headquarters in La Crosse, Wis. on September 4, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. CDT.
Participants will learn the latest on the pandemic threat, corporate antiviral distribution strategies, public and private sector partnerships, and a variety of legal implications. A live Q&A panel discussion will follow the morning and afternoon sessions.
The conference will feature keynote speaker, Dr. Julie Gerberding, Director, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, along with a panel of experts including:
— Governor Tommy Thompson, former United States Secretary of Health & Human Services
— Dr. William Winkenwerder, former Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs
— Ms. Lisa Koonin, Senior Advisor, Influenza Coordination Unit, Centers for Disease Control & Prevention.
