Pop Stars in Skin Cancer Campaign
ATOMIC KITTEN pop stars Liz McClarnon and Natasha Hamilton have teamed up with Boots to launch its “mole mates” campaign.
They are urging people to ask a friend to help check their skin for signs of cancer.
Boots found that almost half of people found it difficult to check moles properly when they were in hard-to-reach places.
Melanoma is the most dangerous form of skin cancer; new cases in the UK have doubled in 20 years. But it can be treated if it is detected early.
