Healthvision to Sponsor's Southwest Virginia Tech Council's Medical Technology Summit

Healthvision, a leading provider of healthcare specific software and solutions, today announced they will participate in Southwest Virginia Tech Council's Medical Technology Summit being held at the Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center on August 11-12, 2008.
The purpose of this Summit is to educate and assist healthcare providers in the region to select and use electronic health records systems effectively and to showcase electronic health records products and other interoperable electronic health systems including CareSpark's current health information exchange capabilities. CareSpark uses Healthvision's Cloverleaf(R) as a means of exchanging data between their various healthcare systems.
The Summit expects to attract approximately 300 physicians, hospital CEOs and CIOs, and other healthcare IT end users from Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky, West Virginia, and North Carolina.
