S Ossetia to Get 10 T of Kazakh Humanitarian Aid

Vladikavkaz, 15 August: The first batch of Kazakh humanitarian aid for South Ossetian residents will be delivered to South Ossetia, ITAR-TASS has learnt at the information service of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry.
“Valeriy Petrov, deputy Kazakh emergencies minister, as well as 10 tonnes of humanitarian aid, will arrive in Vladikavkaz today. The humanitarian aid includes medicines, food products and bedding,” the ministry official said.
He said that Kazakhstan was also arranging wagons to deliver 30 tonnes of roofing slates.
It is expected that an aircraft from Kazakhstan will land in Vladikavkaz at 1740 Moscow time today.
