nSpire Health Appoints Dr. Robert Crapo As Chairman of Scientific & Medical Advisory Board
nSpire Health announced today the recent appointment of Dr. Robert Crapo as chairman of its scientific and medical advisory board. Dr. Crapo has served on the National Heart and Lung's Asthma Clinical Research Network Protocol Review Committee, has been a member of the American Thoracic Society Committee on proficiency standards for clinical pulmonary laboratories since 1983 until recently, and chaired the committee since 1993. He is medical director of the pulmonary laboratory at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, and the recipient of the 2006 distinguished scientist award from the American College of Chest Physicians.
Under Dr. Crapo's chairmanship, the nSpire Health advisory board supports the company's Strategic and Product Planning efforts providing a direct link between the company, clinicians, scientists, and other key opinion leaders in the cardio-pulmonary marketplace. Members of the board assist in developing the vision for products and services and evaluate the company's emerging technologies.
