Sucampo Pharmaceuticals Appoints Kathryn De Santis As Vice President, Investor Relations and Corporate Communications

Sucampo Pharmaceuticals, Inc., (NASDAQ:SCMP), today announced that it has named Kathryn de Santis as its Vice President, Investor Relations and Corporate Communications.
Ms. de Santis brings to Sucampo extensive investor relations and communications experience. For the past 11 years, she served as Director of Investor Relations and Corporate Communications at Human Genome Sciences, Inc. (HGS). Prior to joining HGS, Ms. de Santis served as a vice president at Dewe Rogerson, Inc. (now Citigate Dewe Rogerson), where she was responsible for developing and implementing investor and financial media programs for development stage biotechnology companies. Ms. de Santis also served as an account supervisor at Burns McClellan, New York, where she was responsible for the communications needs of biotechnology companies. Ms. de Santis holds an MBA in Marketing Management from Pace University's Lubin Graduate School of Business, in White Plains, New York, and a B.A. in English Literature from Molloy College, in Rockville Centre, New York.
