Pittsfield Hospital Earns Recognition

PITTSFIELD – Sebasticook Valley Hospital President and CEO John C. May recently announced that Avatar International has recognized the Pittsfield hospital for “exceeding patient expectations in service quality” for the fifth consecutive year. Avatar International measures customer expectations of health care for health care organizations worldwide.
SVH is a progressive 25-bed acute care facility established in 1963 by a group of community leaders. SVH is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, and is a member of the Eastern Maine Healthcare System.
