Gospel Sing/Spaghetti Dinner: A gospel sing and spaghetti dinner will take place at 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, in the Poca High School gymnasium. Admission is a $6 donation, to go to the Poca Dots girls basketball team. Singers include Lexie Lanham, The Harvest Trio, The Gospel Word Quartet, Martha Syner and Roy Guthrie. Friends in Christ Sunday School: The works of Jane Austen will be used to illustrate scriptural teachings in the Friends in Christ Sunday School at First Baptist Church of St. Albans.
