A PASSER-by pulled a six-year old boy from a car containing his mother and grandmother after it overturned in an accident with another vehicle in West Bromwich.

All three were taken to hospital by ambulance with minor injuries.

The crash, which left the car on its side, happened in High Street, West Bromwich, near its junction with George Street about 3.25 pm yesterday.

A paramedic in a rapid response vehicle, three ambulance crews and an incident support officer attended along with firefighters.

A West Midlands Ambulance service spokesman said: “Crews arrived to find a car which had overturned. There were two women inside the vehicle. They were taken to Sandwell General Hospital for treatment.”
