Drug Abuse Killed Painter
MEDICS battled to save a man in the back of a vehicle in a hospital car park, an inquest heard.
Friends of Adam James Mason, aged 22, of Cardar Drive, Brierley Hill, took him to Russells Hall Hospital.
Doctors and nurses treated him in the back of the car before transferring the painter and decorator to the intensive care unit, where he later died.
Black Country coroner Robin Balmain adjourned the inquest. A post- mortem revealed his cause of death to be hypoxic brain damage due to cardiac arrest due to drug abuse.
