TNT Pays Tolls to Promote New Series

TNT is treating motorists to free tolls in parts of Atlanta, Orlando, Fla., Philadelphia and Chicago this weekend to promote its new series "Raising the Bar."
Steven Bochco's legal drama stars Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Gloria Reuben and Jane Kaczmarek. It is set to debut Monday on TNT.
"With so many people on the roads Labor Day weekend, it's a perfect time to get our message out about the premiere of this outstanding new drama series," Tricia Melton, senior vice president of marketing for TNT, TBS and Turner Classic Movies, said in a statement. "We are literally 'Raising the Bar' by paying tolls on Labor Day weekend."
TNT said it paid the tolls for travelers from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday (ET) on Georgia 400 in Atlanta.
The network said it will also pay for passage Monday in Orlando from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. (ET) on the Orlando-Orange County Expressway -- State Road 528 Mainline Plaza (westbound;) in Philadelphia from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. (ET) on the Pennsylvania Turnpike -- Mid-County; and in Chicago from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. (CT) on the Indiana Toll Road -- Westpoint Interchange at mile post 1.
