Dalai Lama Discharged From Hospital in West Indian City

Mumbai [west Indian city], 1 September: Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama was discharged Monday [1 September] from Lilavati hospital in central Mumbai here, hospital sources said.
The 73-year-old Nobel laureate was admitted to the hospital on August 28, following abdominal discomfort, they said.
The Tibetan temporal head was responding to the treatment “very well”, doctors attending on him said.
He was discharged Monday after breakfast, hospital sources added.
