Flooding Aid Deadline Nears

MADISON, Wis. (AP) – Federal and state authorities say Wisconsin residents and business owners who want to register for help for flood damage better do it soon.Wisconsin Emergency Management Administrator Johnnie Smith said residents in 30 counties affected have to apply by 11 p.m. Monday, Sept. 15, for damages or losses caused by June and July storms and flooding.The counties that can register include Crawford, Dane, Dodge, Grant, Green and Iowa.Registration can be done at www.0.gov or by calling 800-621- 3362.
