Angel Fire Resort, the only U.S. location chosen to host the 2005 UCI Mountain Bike World Cup, announced today they have partnered with the Outdoor Life Network (OLN) to develop and co-promote a one-hour television special on the international bike race that will be held July 9-10. Outdoor Life Network is an official partner of the Tour de France road cycling race and will now produce and air the 2005 UCI Mountain Bike World Cup television special which will air in August.
Competitors from over 30 countries will compete at the July race -- expected to include: Brian Lopes (USA), Steve Peat (UK), Cedric Gracia (FRA), Michael Prokop (CZR), Greg Minnaar (NZ), Nathan Rennie (AUS), Sam Hill (AUS), Guido Tschugg (GER), Jill Kindner (USA), and Aneke Beerten (NDR).

-- Cross Country: Ultra-fit racers will compete along a single- track 8-mile loop that climbs over 1,500 vertical feet to the mountain's summit.
-- 4-Cross: head-to-head racing with four riders competing on a course with huge jumps and berms, on a state-of-the-art mountain cross course.
