Take Care Health Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of Walgreens, has opened two Take Care clinics at Walgreens drugstores in Louisville, Kentucky.
The company said that the clinics are walk-in, professional healthcare centers open seven days a week with extended evening and weekend hours.
Take Care clinics now have four locations in Kentucky, including two in the Cincinnati metro area.
Peter Miller, Take Care Health Systems's president and CEO, said: "Our Take Care nurse practitioners have provided high-quality, affordable and convenient healthcare to more than 600,000 patients nationwide since our first clinic opened in November 2005. Take Care clinics have been well-received across the country and we believe that the residents of Louisville will also find great value in our patient-focused model of care."
