Mindfulness Center Offers Workshops

SURRY – The Center for Studying Mindfulness will hold the following workshops in September:

. “Monday Night Drop-In: Exploring Meditation for Everyday Life,” 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Mondays, Sept. 22 through Dec. 16. Contact before attending.

. “Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction” (eight Thursday sessions) begins 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25.

. “Friday Night Couples Connecting,” 7 to 9 p.m. Sept. 5, Oct. 3, Nov. 14.

. “Mothers Connecting with Their Babies,” 1 p.m. Wednesdays, Sept. 10-Dec. 17, at Blue Hill Memorial Hospital. All mothers with babies up to 8 months old are welcome.

. “An Afternoon of Meditation,” 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 19, at the Morgan Bay Zendo. Explore Tibetan, Zen, Mindfulness and Vipassana traditions of meditation. Beginners welcome.
