Colin Goes Nuts for Healthy Food
Hurdling hero Colin Jackson has been welcomed to Llanelli by excited schoolchildren.
Pupils from Halfway Primary School went to Tesco at Parc Trostre to meet the Olympic star and former world record holder.
Colin, who was spreading the word about his healthy range of nuts snacks, said he enjoyed meeting the Llanelli schoolchildren.
He said: “It was such a pleasure to meet so many Welsh sports stars of the future and to spread the word about the importance of healthy eating.
“As an athlete, I have always been very focused on how food affects performance.
“As a result, I am passionate about naturally nutritious food and believe firmly in the importance of nuts in people’s daily diet. I want to see nuts repositioned as a healthy snack, especially among young people.”
