SunLink Health Systems' Memorial Hospital of Adel Wins Excellence Through Insight Award for Most Improved Overall Emergency Department

SunLink Health Systems, Inc. (AMEX: SSY) today announced that its Memorial Hospital of Adel, a 60-bed general medical and surgical facility located in Adel, GA, was selected out of 232 hospitals by HealthStream Research as the recipient of the national Excellence Through Insight Award for Most Improved Overall Emergency Department.
Memorial Hospital of Adel, was awarded this honor for its excellence in patient satisfaction. To qualify for an award, a hospital must have been a patient satisfaction-tracking client of HealthStream Research in 2007 and scored in the 75th percentile or better and surveyed a minimum of 100 patients. Memorial Hospital of Adel received the highest ratings in emergency department patient satisfaction among HealthStream Research's 1,100 clients and exceeded industry standards.
