‘Overeating is Not the Only Cause of Obesity’

They say it is probably bad eating habits and lack of exercise, and maybe it is something else – they obviously don’t know for sure.

To add insult to injury, they assess this crime of obesity using the BMI (Body Mass Index) chart, which has already been thoroughly discredited by research as being flawed and unreliable.

While some people are obese through eating the wrong type of foods, many others have gained weight despite eating the right things.

The causes are many and varied – genetic tendency, slowed metabolism from thyroid problems, aging or others, medication causing the body to gain weight (like steroids), illness restricting movement, ingredients in the food we eat, especially in processed food, chemicals in food and drink and fluoride in tapwater causing hypothyroidism – a few of the reasons causing weight gain, even with a good diet.

As far as I can see, the people who gain from fatty-bashing are the slimming and exercise industry, the pharmaceutical companies, and the PCT/NHS through saving on treating obese people.

How long before the SS (Social Services) start dragging children out of their homes into the camps with ‘Thin makes you Free’ above the door?
