More NHS Patients for Dentist

Hundreds more patients will now have access to much-needed NHS dentistry in Torquay.

Barton Dental Surgery in Isaacs Road currently has 10,000 NHS patients on its books and is now able to take on a further 500.

Practice manager Emma Baker said: “We have been allocated some more points from the primary care trust and we have spaces available for more NHS patients.

“There is a need and we are pleased we are able to take on more NHS patients.”

The surgery in Barton is registered as a good practice with the British Dental Standard, and has one part-time and three full-time dentists.
