Cell Genesys to Present at the UBS Global Life Sciences Conference

Cell Genesys, Inc. (Nasdaq:CEGE) today announced that Stephen A. Sherwin, M.D., chairman and chief executive officer of Cell Genesys, will present a company update at the UBS Global Life Sciences Conference in New York City on Monday, September 22, 2008, at 11:30 a.m. ET.

Cell Genesys is focused on the development and commercialization of novel biological therapies for patients with cancer.
