Company to upgrade Boys & Girls clubs

Heery International – a program management, construction management, architecture, interior design, engineering and construction firm – is hosting its first Community Service Month in a big way.

The firm, which has an office in Long Beach, will be working with the local Boys & Girls Clubs chapter to upgrade several teen centers with new carpet and air conditioning systems this month. Heery has already been involved with the organization to paint, install carpet and replace the televisions in the Fairfield/Westside Center location.

“With so many Long Beach families in need, our office has always worked to better our community through philanthropic efforts with organizations such as the Salvation Army, Red Cross and International Children’s Choir,” said Richard Dilday, vice president in charge of the Long Beach office. “We’re pleased that we can continue assisting the Boys and Girls Clubs with the support of Heery nationwide.”

“As a health-care company, it’s important that we are continually working to identify and implement programs that will help the environment and promote well-being,” Molina said. “With our transportation incentives, we help conserve energy and, at the same time, encourage employees to choose a healthier path to work by biking or walking.”Business author to speak at luncheon
