England Star Theo Backs Local Charity
ENGLAND ace Theo Walcott has backed a Merseyside- based testicular cancer awareness charity.
The 19-year-old, who scored a hat-trick for England last week, offered his support to charity www.checkemlads.com, run by testicular cancer survivor Philly Morris, of Wirral.
Mr Morris set up the charity in 2003 after receiving treatment for the disease at Clatterbridge centre for oncology.
Walcott said: “I did not know testicular cancer was a young man’s illness.
“I hope checkmelads can educate as many young men as possible.”
