CVS/Pharmacy Re-Opens 140 Stores in Southeast Texas
CVS/pharmacy, a retail pharmacy store operator, has re-opened more than 140 stores in southeast Texas since Hurricane Ike impacted the region. Approximately two-thirds of CVS/pharmacy's locations in the region are now open.
More CVS stores are continuing to be re-opened to provide pharmacy services to communities impacted by the hurricane.
Dennis Tewell, area vice president for Texas at CVS/pharmacy, said: "We are committed to re-opening our stores as quickly as possible to ensure our communities have access to emergency supplies and their prescription medications. Customers who have been displaced by the hurricane may visit any nearby CVS/pharmacy to have their prescriptions filled."
