Five Health-Care Programs Honored
Five North Dakota health care facilities received the North Dakota Best Practices Award Sept. 17 during the Fall Professional Development and Best Practices Conference in Bismarck, sponsored by the North Dakota Long Term Care Association.
Good Samaritan Society in Crosby, Prince of Peace Care Center in Ellendale, Bethany Homes in Fargo, Tri-County Health Center in Hatton and Medcenter One Living Centers received the awards at a luncheon.
This award program started in 1998 and is co-sponsored by the NDLTCA and the North Dakota Department of Health to recognize exceptional care in long term care facilities.
Bethany Homes was honored for its Certified Dementia Care Specialist Training program. The Good Samaritan Society was honored for their program, “These Hands.” Prince of Peace Care Center is honored for its “Developing Life as a Healthcare Professional.” The Tri-County Health Center is honored for its “Employee Loan Program,” and Medcenter One Living Center for “Medcenter One Living Centers Pharmacy Program.” Five programs honored for ‘best practices’
