James R. Ramsey, Ph.D., President University of Louisville, Joins Advanced Cancer Therapeutics Board of Directors

Advanced Cancer Therapeutics, LLC (ACT) today announced that James R. Ramsey, Ph.D. has joined its board of directors. A frequent national speaker and writer on economic issues, Dr. Ramsey is the president of the University of Louisville.

"We are honored to have Dr. Ramsey join our board of directors," said Dale J. Boden, Chairman of the Board of ACT. "Dr. Ramsey brings a unique combination of economic and public policy experience which will be invaluable in guiding the Company as we continue to advance our pipeline of anti-cancer products closer to human clinical trials."

Dr. Ramsey has served as president of the University of Louisville since late 2002. During the previous 20 years, he held a variety of positions within the Commonwealth of Kentucky's public sector, including most recently, Interim Commissioner of the Office of the New Economy, Senior Policy Advisor/State Budget Director and Chief State Economist for the Commonwealth.

Dr. Ramsey earned his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Kentucky.
