What: Fourth annual York County Senior Games
When: Opening ceremonies tonight, competition from Monday through Saturday, with closing ceremonies on June 26
Who: York County residents who are at least 50 years old on Dec. 31, 2005
Events: There are 56 events, including bowling, dominoes, checkers, racquetball, mini golf, cycling, archery, bocce, target shooting, polka dancing, billiards, horseshoes, tennis, walking, swimming, badminton, volleyball, croquet, football throw, softball throw, Frisbee throw, Scrabble, weightlifting, bridge, basketball, free-throw shooting, table tennis, chess, track, square dancing and pinochle.
Locations: Thirteen venues across York County, including Lincolnway Bowling, the White Rose Senior Center, Heritage Hills Golf Resort, Hopewell Fish and Game Club, Central York High School, Penn State York, YMCA of York and John C. Rudy County Park.
Today's schedule: The opening ceremonies will be held at 6 p.m. at Springettsbury Township Park.
Monday's schedule:
-- Bowling (doubles), starting at 9:30 a.m. at Lincolnway Bowling
-- Dominoes, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at White Rose Senior Center
-- Checkers, 1-4 p.m. at Lutheran Social Services Kelly Drive
