The Mentone Senior Center is at 1331 Opal Ave., Mentone. Information: (909) 794-5280

Senior cinema: 2 p.m. Mondays. Current hits and classic movies shown on the center’s big-screen TV.

Senior breakfast: 7:30 to 8 a.m. Tuesdays. Start the day with food and friends at the center. Reservations recommended. Cost is $2 for age 60 and older, $3.50 for those younger than 60.

Wii games: 8 a.m. Tuesdays. Join the latest trend in exercise using the Wii interactive media system. Activities include bowling, track, boxing and other virtual reality games. Free.

DAAS: Department of Adult and Aging Services representative at the center 8 to 10 a.m. Tuesdays to discuss with seniors how they can access support and assistance with problems and learn about opportunities, services and activities.

Basic drawing and painting: 9:30 a.m. Tuesdays. Six-week class in basic theory and technique in various art mediums. Participants bring their own supplies. Register at Redlands Adult School. Taught by Ferne Sirois. Information: (909) 797-6676

Yoga: 4 p.m. Tuesdays. Improve overall health, increase strength, flexibility, balance and relaxation. Chair yoga emphasized in the beginning. Information: Elaine, (909) 797-4778

Empowerment for 50+ Series: Fourth Tuesday of the month. Sept. 23: “Technological Advances in the Library,” presented by Renee Lovato and staff. Information: (909) 794-0327. Free.

Exercise group: 9 a.m. Wednesdays. A gentle exercise session following instruction on an exercise CD from the Arthritis Foundation. Focus is on coordination, core strength, balance and joint flexibility. Free.

Airport Philharmonic Musicians: 10 a.m. third Wednesday of the month. Musicians jam together, playing songs from the 1930s, ’40s and ’50s. Stop in and meet them. They’re looking for singers. Information: Bill, (909) 792-7462

Intermediate computer class: 9 a.m. Thursdays. Advance your computer skills with Jack Walker as he offers a broader spectrum of training. Free. Information: Jack, (909) 792-8804

Quilters: 10 a.m. Thursdays. Do you want to learn to quilt or work on your UFO (unfinished object)? Bring your project and enjoy a morning of focused quilting time. Free.

Veterans’ meeting: 1 p.m. the fourth Thursday of the month. Veterans of all ages and from all wars are welcome to share their experiences. Speakers address topics of interest to veterans. Become involved in the Library of Congress Veterans History Project.
